Example CEUS image from a male HCV patient with 4 cm HCC in segment 8 two weeks post transarterial chemoembolization. Nodular peripheral enhancement is observed on CEUS (white arrow), indicating residual viable tumor. Clinical contrast enhanced MRI was obtained 5 weeks post treatment and read as equivocal. Viable tumor was later confirmed via angiography during retreatment
